Microchip’s IGM 1100x grandmaster is a best in class IEEE 1588 sync solution with integrated GNSS receiver and external antenna. IGM 1100x is designed to deliver precise time in scenarios where there is an existing GNSS antenna, or where it would be cost-effective to deploy, such as small, one-story buildings, racks, huts, or cabinets.
The compact factor IGM 1100x, with plug-and-play features which reduce deployment costs, provides a cost-effective alternative to existing 1588 grandmasters that typically present space, power, and cost constraints.
Ideal for Mobile Edge Deployments
Microchip offers a unified software across the IGM grandmaster portfolio facilitating densification for mobile operators through enhanced management options, more reliability through GPS backup, greater scalability with IPv6, and increased client support. IGM is ideal for mobile edge deployments for LTE-A, 5G, and DOCSIS3.1 cable environment
